Created by Sparxsea, the video showcases an unreleased B-side recorded at Chillhouse Studios with long time producer Will Holland (Pixies, Fall Out Boy). The track marks the first release from the new non-profit Record Label, CommunityZ RecordZ. The label will provide a platform for musicians to create works that provide charitable assistance for both their local and global communities. TheWorst has chosen to fight for their hometown of Portland, ME, by donating all profits through the next 30 days of "Lifer" to MaineTransNet.
"Despite everything our band has been through, and despite being wholly and completely unemployed due to the COVID pandemic, and especially because of the horror and suffering we see daily, our country hangs in the balance. We are overwhelmed with the motivation to give back to Portland, ME, our home, and, most importantly, to our friends at MaineTransNet. If anyone is fighting the good hard fight in our town, it's them, and we are honored to support them. Please help us help them!" —TheWorst
