Portland, ME indie rock act W.o.W. — aka Winston Ophelia Walkering — is proud to announce the release of the first single, "Amantle," from their forthcoming full-length album, A Dog Staring Into A Mirror On The Floor.
The song was self-recorded during the quarantine, mixed, and mastered at the legendary Chillhouse Studios in Boston, MA, by renowned producer Will Holland (Pixies, Dead Can Dance, Fall Out Boy). W.o.W. is the brainchild of seasoned veteran songwriter and bandleader, Whit Walker (Pay the Coyote, Formorning, Dixon Bendejo Trash). With the limitations of the pandemic, Walker and his bandmates reached out to some of their close musical friends to collaborate on an album. "Amantle," a dark and biting first musical offering, features Dana Colley (Morphine, Vapors of Morphine), Robert Mitchell (Oak Ridge Boys, Moby, Rural Ghosts), Will Bradford (Seepeoples, the Worst), Dan Capaldi (Sea Level), Ian Riley (Joel Thetford), Jason Grosso (Antiseptic), and Arthur C. Lee (Arthur C.Lee, Sean Flin). All of the musicians recorded at their home studios. The song was finished remotely via Chillhouse in Boston.
